Updates
Wow, it has been a really long time since I've updated our blog. How quickly time has passed since April and how things have changed in our lives. Right after Easter Olivia got RSV. Thank goodness her oxygen levels were good, otherwise she would have had to spend the night in the hospital. I can't imagine her being confined to a small hospital room. It took her a few weeks of breathing treatments and taking it easy to get over that. In April we had someone look at our house one evening, make an offer, we counter offered, and the deal was done...so we thought. We finally ended up selling it to that buyer, but it was a long drawn out process. We are so lucky that everything we worked out! While our house was sold we were able to find a house, we actually bought from some of our friends in Evansville. They were wanting to move back to Indy. The house never had a for sale sign in it. When we were moving in the neighbors were all confused b/c everything happened so quickly. I will post pictures later, but we love the neighborhood and house. We are still trying to get settled.
At the beginning of May I had an ultrasound. The day of the ultrasound I talked Jason into finding out the sex of the baby. The new house has a blue room, so we thought if we knew it was a boy then we might just buy new bedding....good excuse right! Well, at first they told us they knew what it was..... boy, then they said they thought a girl. We decided they couldn't tell and we still don't know, wich we are fine with. We like surprises!
I am doing okay with this pregnancy, just feeling very big and measuring big too. I am measuring about 3-4 weeks ahead of my due date. I go back to the doctor on Friday and he may send me for another ultrasound, just depending how things look. I can't believe that I only have 2 months left. It just seems like I was updating our blog with the news. We are all getting very excited, but scared too! Olivia gives the baby plenty of hugs and kisses and even her paci sometimes. We'll see if that changees when she realizes the baby will be staying permanatly in her house. I think she will love to have a playmate and someone to boss around :)
Towards the middle of May Jason and I got a break from life in Evansville and made a trip to Ft. Lauderdale. It was vacation for me, but business for him. We had a good time, despite all the rain. I will put pictures up of that too.
When we got back from Florida it was back to the routine, sort of. We kicked it in high gear to get our house packed up and everything moved out. We moved in with Jason's parents for about three weeks, thanks goodness we had them during this time. I helped pack things up, but I wasn't much help with the move. Jason, his dad, uncles, and cousin moved everything from our old house to his new house. His mom and youngest sister, Hannah, helped out so much cleaning our new house. After everything was moved in my parents came up for a long weekend to watch Olivia so we could focus on unpacking and getting organized. We couldn't have done it without everyone's help.
