I Love the Camera

Olivia loves the camera...if you can't tell. When we get it out all we have to say is "smile big." She loves it!!!!

Eating Cheerios

The other day I walked into the kitchen and found Olivia sitting on the floor eating Cheerio's. She had gotten the box out and taken the bag out and started eating. She also does this with BBQ Baked Lays, another one of her favorites. She is a mess!!!!

Bath Time!!

SAY CHEESE!

Olivia loves baths. She gets so excited that she can't stand it. Tonight we made her hair all crazy and she cheesed for the camera. She is really understanding what we are doing now when we take pictures. As soon as she sees the camera she starts smiling ear to ear. More to come.........

Cheeseburger in Paradise

Jason, Olivia, and I went out on a date to Cheeseburger in Paradise. She actually was pretty good. Usually her patience aren't very long when we go out to dinner, but we were able to sit outside and it was a nice night. We all had great time hanging out together and Olivia does like french fries!

Updates

Wow, it has been a really long time since I've updated our blog. How quickly time has passed since April and how things have changed in our lives. Right after Easter Olivia got RSV. Thank goodness her oxygen levels were good, otherwise she would have had to spend the night in the hospital. I can't imagine her being confined to a small hospital room. It took her a few weeks of breathing treatments and taking it easy to get over that. In April we had someone look at our house one evening, make an offer, we counter offered, and the deal was done...so we thought. We finally ended up selling it to that buyer, but it was a long drawn out process. We are so lucky that everything we worked out! While our house was sold we were able to find a house, we actually bought from some of our friends in Evansville. They were wanting to move back to Indy. The house never had a for sale sign in it. When we were moving in the neighbors were all confused b/c everything happened so quickly. I will post pictures later, but we love the neighborhood and house. We are still trying to get settled.

At the beginning of May I had an ultrasound. The day of the ultrasound I talked Jason into finding out the sex of the baby. The new house has a blue room, so we thought if we knew it was a boy then we might just buy new bedding....good excuse right! Well, at first they told us they knew what it was..... boy, then they said they thought a girl. We decided they couldn't tell and we still don't know, wich we are fine with. We like surprises!

I am doing okay with this pregnancy, just feeling very big and measuring big too. I am measuring about 3-4 weeks ahead of my due date. I go back to the doctor on Friday and he may send me for another ultrasound, just depending how things look. I can't believe that I only have 2 months left. It just seems like I was updating our blog with the news. We are all getting very excited, but scared too! Olivia gives the baby plenty of hugs and kisses and even her paci sometimes. We'll see if that changees when she realizes the baby will be staying permanatly in her house. I think she will love to have a playmate and someone to boss around :)

Towards the middle of May Jason and I got a break from life in Evansville and made a trip to Ft. Lauderdale. It was vacation for me, but business for him. We had a good time, despite all the rain. I will put pictures up of that too.

When we got back from Florida it was back to the routine, sort of. We kicked it in high gear to get our house packed up and everything moved out. We moved in with Jason's parents for about three weeks, thanks goodness we had them during this time. I helped pack things up, but I wasn't much help with the move. Jason, his dad, uncles, and cousin moved everything from our old house to his new house. His mom and youngest sister, Hannah, helped out so much cleaning our new house. After everything was moved in my parents came up for a long weekend to watch Olivia so we could focus on unpacking and getting organized. We couldn't have done it without everyone's help.

Gatti Town

Tonight we had dinner at Gatti Town. Olivia really liked the rides! Looks like she is going to be a crazy one behind the wheel :)

Hunting Easter Eggs

Hunting Easter Eggs

Today Olivia went to the Cintas and Berry Plastics Easter Egg Hunts. She had so much fun! She really enjoys tasting all the eggs, each color must be a new flavor to her. It was such a nice day to be outdoors, we really lucked out.

First Haircut

Olivia had her first haircut tonight. It was long overdue! Although, we just had Natalie trim it a little. Olivia will not keep a bow in her hair and she will barely keep a ponytail holder in. This past week she had a bow in and took it out and walked over to the trash can and threw it away. Last night we were at the mall and she took out her ponytail holder and put it in her mouth. I practically had to stick my finger down her throat to get it out. I don't know how long we will be able to fight this battle :)

Growing Up...

Our little girl is growing up so fast. She loves being outside in the warm weather. I picked her up at the babysitter today and she didn't want me to hold her, she wanted down to keep playing with everyone. This weekend she helped me fold clothes. On Sunday night Jason told her if she was ready for night night to go stand by her rocking chair and he would make her a bottle (which we need to work on giving up, but not right now) and bring it to her. She went into her room and stood by her chair. He brought her the bottle and sat her in her chair while he put water in her humidifier. She stayed in the chair and drank her bottle. We hope you enjoy!

March 3, 2009

On Sunday evening Jason and I both came down with the stomach bug. It was horrible, to say the least. Early Monday morning when Olivia woke up Jason was in the bathroom and I was in the bedroom on the floor and Olivia was knocking trying to get in both doors...she didn't quite understand. Thank goodness for Grandma, she came to the rescue!

However, today I had a scheduled doctor's appointment. Thank goodness we were both feeling better or I would have had to reschedule. We were able to hear the heartbeat of the new baby. It was very fast, not too loud yet. The expected due date is around September 17 and it doesn't look like we have to worry about twins :) I am about 11 1/2 weeks along and so far everything looks normal. I will get the routine ultrasound at about 20 weeks.

Jason asked me in the waiting room what I think we are having and my response was "Probably another wild one." :) What would we do without our Liv though. She keeps us going, even when we just want to rest!

Napping with Daddy

Olivia has been a little under the weather today. We think she just has a really bad cold due to cutting more teeth. Every time she gets new teeth she gets sick. This morning she couldn't keep anything down. She and I have both had on three outfits today. Hopefully, she is getting better though. She was watching a movie with Daddy this afternoon and fell asleep.

Fixing Grandma's Hair

Last weekend we went to Poplar Bluff. Olivia had fun trying to fix Grandma's unruly hair :) We had a good time getting to see both Grandma and Grandpa. Olivia can't wait for a week alone at Grandma's!!!!

Winter Ice Storm

This was our house after the ice/ snow storm in January. Our power went out on Wednesday morning at 1:50AM. We weren't sure how bad it would be the next morning or how quickly our house would cool down, so we packed everything up and headed to Jason's parents house in Newburgh...at least they have a fire place to keep warm. We ended up staying there for a week because we didn't get power back until the following Tuesday. This has been the second time in a year that we have lost power for several days.

New Addition in 2009

We wantd to let everyone know that in September we are going to have a new addition to our family. The news is somewhat suprising to us, although we always said that we wanted to have at least one more baby. We didn't imagine that Olivia and the new baby would be so close in age. Although, we are looking forward to watching them grow up together and be best friends. The next few months is going to bring many challenges and changes to our family...one of them finding a new house and selling ours. Please keep us in your prayers as a new chapter in our life is about to begin. We look forward to celebrating with everyone soon.
